Ed Begley Jr’s Guide To Sustainable Living
The American public in general is celebrity-conscious to a fault, avidly listening and watching and copying the doings of public figures who might be better left in obscurity. However, in the case of Ed Begley, Jr we all should do a little imitating – and read his new book. It’s called Ed Begley Jr.’s Guide to Sustainable Living, due out September 8th. This guy doesn’t just talk about it – he lives it.
Begley, best known for his Emmy-nominated role in St. Elsewhere, and with a slew of other acting credits from television and film, is probably the ‘greenest’ name in Hollywood. His 1,700 square foot home is solar heated with an annual electric bill of $600 and he makes toast with bicycle power. And that’s only the beginning.
The man’s lifestyle is all about conservation, and he’s getting his point across to a lot of folks. It’s called making a difference.
