UK Looking for Deal on Emissions
According to government, sources the UK are trying to seek a way of getting out of their commitment to cutting Co2 emissions. Under the rules, governments are allowed to trade the EU targets, but only thirty per cent, the UK would like to see this increased to fifty per cent.
They say that this will help developing countries to get control of their own emission problems, but in reality could it be that the UK and other countries are simply trying to make the job at home easier by sending money abroad.
