Property Market Bad For Eco Homes

by David Allen on Tuesday, June 10th, 2008

Here in the UK the property market is at an all time low, which is a shame for one celebrity builder who decided to start an eco house project just before the market caved in. Tommy Walsh has been seen in the BBC programme Ground force and in other lesser known TV shows, but recently he have turned his hand to eco building.

Unfortunately, the house, which was originally set to be sold, well in fact cannot be sold due to lack of interest. The costs of building the three bedroom house was about £180,000 ($280,000) but has been for sale for a number of months. So the house is going to auction and will have a guide price of just £100,000 ($150,000), a bargain for some lucky person.
