Clinton to give city halls a makeover
Well of course he is not actually going to be doing it personally, but the Clinton Global Initiative, part of the Clinton Foundation are holding a summit in New York, where officials from cities such as Cities include New York, Chicago, Houston, Toronto, Mexico City, London, Berlin and Tokyo, Rome; Karachi, Pakistan; Seoul, South Korea; Bangkok, Thailand; Melbourne, Australia; Sao Paulo, Brazil; and Johannesburg, South Africa. Have been invited to bring along a carrier bag in order for them take a share of the one billion dollars that has been put up by the international banks.
The idea is that these guys will go back to their city halls and turn them into eco friendly places, which in the long term will save them money and ultimately save on resources.
Jobs to do, are replacing the old heating and cooling systems, lighting, windows and paint work, clearly different locations would need a different type of makeover to suit their climate, but it has to be a good idea.
