We all know that electricity is very important when it comes to lighting up areas especially in the dark or night. But the thing is that the issue of power consumption is pretty much something that needs to be addressed.
Not only for power saving issues but the thing is that alternative sources of energy are certainly welcome. And the University of Wisconsin-Madison seems to have something like that with this bulb which is said to run on bacteria.
The Biobulb runs on bacteria-power to emit a handy glow, practically creating an ecosystem of sorts in a jar which takes advantage of the microorganisms and natural light to feed the shining bacteria inside.
