Capitol Hill in Washington aims for Carbon Neutrality by 2020
Lawmakers in Washington, DC are urging for Capitol Hill to Go Green, to mandate change from the inside out as leaders. House Speaker Pelosi states “The House must lead by example and it is time for Congress to act on its own carbon footprint.”
State Senator Kerry is pushing for legislation that will enable the white house to shift to 100 percent renewable electric power and the goal is to have the “entire complex carbon neutral by 2020,” states Senator Kerry. Another goal is to use more alternative fuel vehicles in their massive government fleet.
