Citrus Clock thrives on Lemon Power

The Citrus Clock offers a new kind of timepiece that showcases the power of alternative energy. Rather than the usual solar powered or wound clocks, this one runs on “lemon power”.
The Citrus Clock comes from international design studio Anna Gram, relying on the power of the lemon to function. The said clock reportedly uses the same principle that a battery would have, something that should make the Citrus Clock useful for a week with just a single lemon.
Each lemon half is mounted on zinc and copper plugs, initiating electrolysis which somehow reminds us of the energetic potential of the food we usually consume.
