We all know that our seas have their own share of rendering energy when needed. Some of them normally thrive on propeller power and such is the case with the Deep Green project.
The Deep Green is composed of a series of giant propeller-like objects which convert tidal streams into flows of electricity. When the current flows in, energy is created by the “novel principle”, similar to that of how windmills are able to produce energy.
Initial testing was reportedly done over at North Ireland and a bigger version of the Deep Green is said to be planned for 2015.
