Nature Energy Park for Kids

by Brian on Monday, April 4th, 2011

The best way to teach kids is through things that appeal to them. In this case, it comes in the form of toys. And with that thought, having such toys available in an eco-conscious jungle gym may help educate them on the importance of renewable energy. The idea comes from designers You Song Young, Jin Soo Yeon, Ahn Ho Sang and Lee Sung Jae who have come up with the Nature Energy Park for Kids.

Renewable energy is taught through games. Some examples include a pedal-powered radio demonstrates kinetic energy, while a pinwheel-powered traffic sign shows how the wind can be used to produce energy.

It would be best to start out the kids while they are young. Besides, being aware of the eco-friendly consequences should be a great way to help them preserve the planet which will hopefully continue to have the said resources once they grow up.
