Pedal power is easily found in bikes or lately in some vehicles. Planes and some aircrafts have tried to do the same but only a few seem to have succeeded. The Gamera II Chopper may append that dwindling belief, relying on human power to patrol the skies.
The Gamera II Chopper gets power from the usual pedal-power that humans would use. It is cranked in the same way people do with bike pedals. The machine of the bike has four wings that resemble large pieces of scaffolding while a helicopter blade spins horizontally which is attached to each one.
Peddling thus spins these blades and helps the aircraft take off from the ground. Though in the early development stages, hopefully the Gamera II chopper can gain more ground for more alternative transport solutions for consumer options. Check out the video below:
