Self Charging LEAF Wireless Mouse

by Brian Yalung on Monday, January 30th, 2012

Many of us today are already preferring the wireless mice over the usual wired one (although personally I still prefer the conventional wired one) although battery issues seem to hamper the shift to wireless navigation options. But to those who want the wireless one which to many is a lot more handier, having batteries on standby is a must to make sure you don’t end up without a mouse or rebooting your computer just to install your wired one (assuming you haven’t thrown the old one away).

But designer Lu Hairong and Zhang Xuehui comes up with a neat concept in the LEAF wireless mouse, something that relies on motion to power itself. The mouse should be a big lift to do away with the bane of used up batteries that contribute to the e-waste problem while at the same time offering a new sleek design aid for the computing geeks.
