The Eco Friendly Superstore

There is no doubt that Tesco are the UK largest and most successful superstore chain, yet over the past few years they have been condemned of the years over their green credentials, but it seems that they are in the process of doing something about it.

It looks as if one of the superstores in Colchester, Essex in the UK is about to get a green makeover. The plan is to use a combined heat and power unit (CHP) to provide a sustainable way of providing power for the store.

It makes good sense. Some of the larger superstores in America need to take notice and follow suite to this British company. It makes both economical and environmental sense to use renewable energy sources.
