Alternative energy sources have been made for various uses and here is one designed based on the geographic area where all other energy solutions may fail. This is the Wave Hub, something made for Southern English coasts which aims to put the tidal patterns of the sea to power thousands of homes.
The Wave Hub was installed 16kms off the coast of Hayle where various tidal arrays are looked up to harness power. The energy collected is distributed to a 25 kilometer long undersea cable to a Welsh-owned station that is responsible for providing power to the 7,500 homes located in Cornwall.
The best part is that the installation of the Wave Hub means that the production of 24,300 tons of carbon dioxide has been avoided due to a cleaner, healthier alternative to fossil fuels.
