As the search for new alternative rendering energy concepts continue to increase, here is an interesting one from Luis Castanheira. It is the Voltair, a wind-powered generator which features nearly free energy to use.
The generator is made of an array of fans set on the median of a highway. Each of them are turned by air, something that is done when cars go speeding by.
The main goal of this project is to reduce the complexity of the product as much as possible. In doing so, Castanheira was left with a base that supports a power generator, a body composed of a set of curved blades, and a safety cover fixing all components.
