There is no doubt that if schools could improve in rendering learning to students if they had the available funding. And perhaps by going green, such could be accomplished.
At least that is what schools in Croatia are planning to do, changing the ways the energy/electricity is consumed over there and using the savings towards delivering better education to the kids.
The Ostrog Elementary School in Kastel Luksic aims to do just that, planning to turn to renewable systems which could be at the same time a learning process as well in enhancing knowledge into the young minds when it comes to how to conserve and be more ecofriendly.
Should they succeed, there is no doubt that the school could be a model for others to follow, not to mention push politicians to pay more attention towards the lack of funding education may be getting for select parts of the world.
