There is nothing wrong with being creative or innovative but the fact remains that there are limits. And using living creatures, no matter how small they are as part of a fashion line is bound to draw some flak, something that designer Cassandra Verity Green has drawn with his Fish Bowl Hand Bags.
The idea is neat but the thing is on how long the actual living fish used in it would survive. Chances are not long considering that they do need oxygen to live, something which may not necessarily a provision with the said bags.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals would not have of it, who were concerned with the use of “living creature to create a novel or unusual accessory encourages people to see them as replaceable ornaments, rather than living creatures in need of care and commitment”.
