Ivory Banned On eBay

by David Allen on Friday, January 2nd, 2009

For anyone who is has been worried about the growing market for ivory products, the fact that the online auction site eBay have decided as from now to banned the sale of such products from their sites around the world.

There will be many people watching this, simply to see if this was an idea worthwhile proposition and to what effect this banned will have, if any. It is doubtful that just stopping the sale of ivory on eBay is going to make any difference, especially when there are no figures available to go on. However, one thing is sure it is a good start to worthwhile cause.
