Prop 2 Law Won, Big Victory For Factory Farm Animals
I have great news to share with you. Prop 2 law has passed and this means that factory farm animals won’t have to be confined in small spaces and crates in food warehouses anymore.
This was a proposition that mostly came about from grassroots measures and was passed by heavy street initiatives by the American people.
Millions of pigs, veal calves, and egg laying hens are confined in tiny metal and wood crates to accommodate more animals and to make for a more efficient food production system. If you have never seen this, believe me, you probably have no idea how cruel it is.
Big thanxs to all the people who cared and made it their personal mission to see that this ground breaking law was passed.
