You may have heard of a saber tooth tiger but a saber tooth whale? Is there such a thing? Well apparently now there is.
This is after one actually washed ashore in California, all 2,000 pounds of it. Also known as Stejneger, the whale thus joins the other uncanny sightings of rare aquatic mammals which include an 18 foot oarfish and a sea serpent.
The Saber Tooth Whale is something one would only reportedly spot in Alaska and for some reason, the said whale has reached California. On how it was able to survive the long journey considering the dangers that open water carry, its arrival has puzzled most people.
Some have even gone to the extent that the Stejneger’s arrival is a sign of things to come like an earthquake which, they say, is a reason for the unusual direction where these sea creatures go to.
