The Endangered Orangutans of Sumatra

As the list of endangered species continue to add up, the Orangutans situated in North Sumatra, Indonesia are now included in that list. With only about 6,000 of them in existence, these “persons of the forest” are remarkably intelligent and could really pass as a rational human being.
But perhaps their existence lacks the proper capabilities of survival and a lot of this is because of the wiser humans who are to be blamed. Apparently a flash flood that hit them back in 2003 was seen as the main culprit for the death of a lot of these species.
The orangutan normally doesn’t want to be bothered but this time, the need to help them out if they are continue to exist has become a critical need.
