The Greencycle 2 is a trike that was made for use by poorer communities aching to go green while staying within reach of utilizing eco-friendly transportation. The Greencycle 2 was actually featured in the 2011 International Bike Design Competition, carrying a basic design made of renewable resources which poor countries will have no problem getting.
The bike was made using proper feedback and research among the poorer regions with the intent of providing the cultural functionality to carry out its purpose. The bike was actually redesigned after the first model to add more stability compared to that of the two-wheel model.
However, despite its now three-wheel make, it can still convert to the two-wheel version when needed. The bike is seen as something handy for the striving countries who do not have the luxury of using the usual cars or trucks due to factors such as roads and of course finances.
