Chevrolet Models Own Scrappage Scheme

Chevrolet picks up from the celebrated UK car scrappage scheme, formulating their own version of helping stimulate car sales that seems to be more lucrative compared to the £2,000 discount that the United Kingdom has offered for its local cash for clunkers program.
Under the programs, Chevrolet is offering the Chevrolet Epica saloon under the scheme from only £10,495 on-the-road and the Chevrolet Captiva from only £13,495, subject to a customer’s vehicle qualifying for the discount. To qualify, it must have been registered before August 31st 1999, have a valid MoT certificate and been registered to the same person as the all-new car for at least 12 months prior to being traded in as scrap.
The need to inject some life into the car industry seems to be apparent and these car scrappage schemes which aims to do away with old cars that contribute to the growing issue of carbon emissions seems to be aiming to hit two birds with one stone. For Chevrolet, it aims to likewise improve their car sales performance, something that has become a downfall for large car manufacturers in light of the crisis sparing no one at all.
