We all know that electric powered aircrafts would normally accommodate only a single person, a lot due to the weight issue which would be tied up with the amount of energy that each could carry. However, it looks like the first two-seater chopper will soon come into play.
The E-Volvo VC200 Volocopter was tested several times over at a German hangar, something which was able to reach a height of 22 meters.
The emission-free chopper hovers and glides through changing thrusts and torque produced by each of the 18 spinning blades it comes equipped with.
According to the company, the aircraft exceeded all expectations: it was quiet, produced no noticeable vibrations during the flight and showed excellent use of its new spring strut landing gear and rotor plane.
