Well the EV Car sector is about to get a new player soon. Kia has announced that it plans to release its first-ever electric vehicle in the United States next year through the Soul EV.
With its impending entry, Kia thus joins the Optima Hybrid, the Nissan Leaf and Honda Fit EV, broadening the options of electric vehicles that would be offered in the American market.
Sadly though, details have not yet been released as to what the Soul EV would be carrying outside that of carrying a different style with existing Kia Soul models.
Sketchy information however bares that the Kia Soul EV will be backed by a 50 kW electric motor as well as a lithium ion battery. The EV can reportedly go at distances of up to 124 miles on a single charge.
