The Toyota Prius, that hybrid vehicle that should address some of the transportation issues we have these days may yet branch out its standard features, something which should come in handy in emergency instances.
Apparently the new hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle versions now carry new features which would allow owners to power up appliances when the need arises. The new feature was made possible thanks to the included power outlets, something that can be used without even starting the car.
Wattages of 1500W and 100V voltage are available which can be availed optionally with prices starting at $789. The Prius already has the feature on while the PHEV will receive it on November 1st.
