Faurecia Interiors for the Eco-Friendly Car

The proper way to go about economical gas consumption depends on the load of vehicles. The heavier the car is, the more power needed hence the need to step on the accelerator often. Normally, it would depend on the type of machine and interiors that a car has. But with this car seat design from Faurecia, it can certainly help a lot when it comes to trying to reduce the weight element that cars often have to consider for better and conservative gas mileage.
To get a taste of what Faurecia does, I will take you through the design of the seat you see pictured. In designing this seat, their greenest, Faurecia has replaced the traditional metal frame and foam-based seat with a molded, supportive back that uses innovative cushioning to reduce the thickness of the seat up to 50%. This design reduces the use of environmentally unfriendly materials like foam, but also frees up over 16 liters of space in the car.
