A new concept in the world of electric vehicles may be unveiled at the CES 2014 and Ford seems to be behind it.
With the annual event fast approaching, Ford will reportedly lift the covers of their Ford C-Max Solar Car, a new concept that should address some plug-in issues that EVs are currently having.
Rather than worry about where to plug the vehicle in at times when power goes low, the said Ford C-Max Solar Car will have that covered thanks mainly to its roof which is clad with solar cells.
The cells are said to be efficient and would offer better ways of collecting energy when a car would run low on power. Although slower, Ford believes that a day’s worth of solar collection could charge the concept car just as well as a four-hour charge.
