Custom Golden Gate Bike Camper

by Brian Yalung on Sunday, January 22nd, 2012

The Golden Gate is an electric-powered camper that was meant for people who frequent the beach. And while the overall exterior look leaves a lot to be desired, people may want to reconsider the fact that this hybrid creation prioritized things such as storage while at the same time offering the wise functionality of getting to your point of destination the eco-friendly way.

The Golden Gate features an electric motor and is covered by a shell made of fiberglass, glass, plywood and epoxy. Inside, familiar bike fixtures will be found which is most probably the foundation for it all.

And while the mini creation may seem cramp, don’t be surprised if you find some other goodies inside. This includes a mini kitchen, a sink, stove and a cooler. Oh and yet, it even comes with a toilet and a bed.

The Golden Gate can travel for about 10 miles on a single charge and do a top speed of 20MPH. Crazy concept but the functionality is all there. Cramped by an ample solution to live in, depending on your overall size of course!
