Mitsubishi Set to Unveil More Electric Cars
Apparently the Mitsubishi iMiEV is just a slice of the pie that Mitsubishi Motors has to offer as far as electric vehicles under its wing is concerned as they have revealed plans of more cars by 2013. With the expected demand for electric cars expected to grow in the coming years, Mitsubishi is making sure that they are properly placed in the market, thus assuring motorists of a wider selection of electric vehicles that will be available in the market.
Among the highlights of the next cars on Mitsubishi’s agenda include:
- a left-hand-drive i-MiEV by the 2010 fiscal year for the European market
- an electric commercial vehicle in the 2010 fiscal year
- a larger electric car
- a sportier version of the i-MiEV
- a plug-in hybrid S.U.V. by the 2013 fiscal year
The iMiEV’s pricing has been already revealed at $45,600 though you have to wonder how much these new cars from Mitsubishi would cost once they are out in the market.
