Regenerative Shock Absorbers

Shock absorbers will soon be used for another way and it looks like they come between the lines of providing additional energy as far as vehicles are concerned. Thanks to the efforts of the Tuft engineers, we may soon see a great alternative for vehicles needing power while mobile.

According to Tufts Journal, the technology is an electromagnetic linear generator, which converts energy that would otherwise be lost, into electrical energy that can help charge a vehicle’s battery.
