Rimac Concept One Electric Car

by Brian Yalung on Monday, September 26th, 2011

Set to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, we catch an advanced glimpse of the new Concept_One EV. The vehicle was designed by Croatian Mate Rimac, featuring a sleek design to go along with some impressive specs that include 1088 hp, 3,800 Nm of torque, 0-62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds, a top speed of 190 mph (305 km/h) and a 370 mile range (600 km).

The EV is powered by four independent electric motors which are placed on each wheel. The vehicle also features front and rear sub systems and a battery which has a power capacity of 92 kWh.

The EV will be limited to 88 units and deliveries will start by 2013. No info yet on where it would be produced, same on how much the Rimac Concept_One electric car would cost.
