Sanyo To Unveil Solar Electric Vehicle

Sanyo is scheduled to present its solar electric vehicle at the Eco Products 2009 International Exhibition at Tokyo. The vehicle needs only 16 hours to charge and half if charged via 100 volt AC outlet. The Sanyo Solar Powered Vehicle will be equipped with solar panels and lithium ion batteries and for people who happen to be at the exhibition, you will get the chance to test drive the said vehicle as well.
