Shopping centres get electric car charging points
In the UK, EDF Energy are installing around 250 electric vehicle charging points at nine out of town shopping malls, the chargers are known as Elektrobays which uses a wireless electronic key system to communicate with the unit.
The bays will be installed at the Capital Shopping Centres in nine locations across the UK, including Braehead, Glasgow; Chapelfield, Norwich; The Chimes, Uxbridge; The Glades, Bromley; The Harlequin, Watford; Lakeside, Thurrock; Metro Centre, Gateshead; The Potteries, Stoke-on-Trent and The Victoria Centre, Nottingham.
