Singer James Blunt was given the first Mini EV, which has been developed, by Hybrid Technologies and NASA. This car has gone into production and will be available in the showrooms near you very soon.
Hybrid technologies in Mooresville, North Carolina are the company that will be converting the Minis coopers, which are originally built in the UK then shipped over to the states. The technology is fantastic, the car will reach around 80 mph, and do zero to sixty in just six seconds. With a range of 120 mile on just one charge it is clear that this car is going to be a great eco friendly car.
However before you rush out, the price tag is going to be around $60,000.
