Mercedes Benz, just like most car manufacturers are gearing up for more conservative and emission-friendly vehicles without sacrificing their overall luxury. And from the looks of it, the German car brand will have its own by 2025 with the F 125.
The Mercedes Benz F 125 will be an emission-free luxury saloon which can accommodate four people. The body of the vehicle is made from a mix of fiber-reinforced plastics, carbon fiber, aluminium and high-strength steel alloys which should justify its 250 kg weight.
The F 125 will run on lithium-sulphur batteries and a new version of Mercedes’ F-Cell system that was used to circumnavigate the globe in 125 days earlier this year. Other features of this hybrid F 125 car include an Advanced Driving Assist system and speech control, maintaining the lush pampering the Mercedes has been known to render.
The Mercedes Benz F 125 was shown off at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show and should start production come 2025.
