15 upscale designers were called upon by Greenpeace Italy to take part in their ecofriendly motion, something which should give them an idea of their environmental impact on various issues concerning the environment.
This included their impact in the following areas: water pollutions, agricultural degrading, and that of animals. Among the designers who took part included that of Valentino, Versace, Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana and Chanel.
The result was that of some companies responding with varying commitments based on the statistics returned. Some vowed partial commitment, others minimizing their use of chemicals.
But of course there are others who chose to step out of the green race, giving you an idea of where they rank as far as Greenpeace Italy’s spectrum is concerned.
