Apparently fur is eco friendly!

I just know that this is going cause problems! But the Fur Council of Canada are actually promoting fur as a real eco friendly product, well fancy that! Here is what they say:

furtrade

To be considered “green” or “environmentally-friendly”, apparel and accessories should be made from natural materials that are:

Renewable

Durable, long-lasting HYPERLINK “http://furcouncil.com/recyclable.aspx”

Reusable, recyclable

Biodegradable

Non-polluting, non-toxic

Energy efficient in their production, use and disposal

So if you go along with what they are saying then you had better get out and buy one! Well clearly we wont be doing that very soon, and the very thought that the fur trade are simply doing a green job is just totally wrong.

Aussie Actress Pippa Black wears veggie dress

As part of the PETA promotion to make everyone stop eating meat, the charity has got some of the most beautiful women in the world and covered them in veggies in an attempt to encourage more of us to turn to the vegetarian lifestyle.

veggie dress

Personally I don’t get the idea of how a women dressed in vegetables is going to be enough to turn someone into a fulltime, life long vegetarian. Or am I getting gold these days?

Heather Mills works with Viva

It seems that not a day passes by without Heather Mill not being in the headlines and today is not exception. She has teamed up with Viva the Vegetarians International Voice for Animals. Starting tomorrow she will be appearing in series of adverts that will try to get the message across about how global warming can be slowed down by the reduction in meat eating.

The general idea is that the more meat production there is the more of an environmental disaster it will be.

The adverts will show Heather Mills in some quite amusing situations and even taking the fun out of her own disability etc, which just goes to show that she is not as bad as the media and other folks would like us all to think.

Hot PETA Spokesperson Maggie Q

PETA, the animal rights group, uses celebs and actors for alot of their ad campaigns, because they bring in the popular vote. Check out their latest hottie below.

Maggie Q

This is Chinese actress Maggie Q in hot news pics for the latest PETA Ad Campaign. She states she became a veggie because it gives her “great energy” and also because she loves animals and doesnt believe in their suffering.

I only wish celebs would stop saying that they went veggie because it gives them “more energy” it is so tired a reason, try something more original, guys.
