There are many people who have been waiting for something like this to come along, the solar powered laptop, the panels charge up the battery and the computer is good to go.
The solar panel could be removed from the laptop and the battery can then be charged up by the main electric power, this is great for people who work outside a lot, because two to three hours of battery is not much use for anyone.

These lights are great for outside where it is difficult to wire up an electric light which is so awkward and time consuming, whereas these lights can be fixed into place and that is that.
But unlike some types of solar powered light these look like those electric ones, they contain two LED’s and a when they have been fully charged up, they will then provide up to six hours of light, which would be enough for most of the night.

This has to be the eco house of the year so far, this has been built in England by the owner and with some help from his friends.
Surprisingly it cost around $8,000 to complete although they did do a lot of the work themselves like piling up the straw bales for the walls and laying turf on the roof, which has flowers in it and so on. The whole project took only ten months to complete.

Getting computers to run on solar power is very difficult, this is because the actual solar panels are big, bulky and heavy, or that was how it used to be.
Now solar panels are slimmer, lighter and more powerful, which means that they can be used for all sorts of things other than powering calculators. This set up has done just that, by utilising a solar panel to power up a multi computer set up. One day all offices will be like this!

This is a great concept that will allow you charge up this phone without having to plug it in at all, it works on a kinetic type principal, so basically as long as you keep on the move the phone will be getting a charge.
However there are some draw backs with this phone, it is made from glass and aluminium, in the centre is a generating and charging unit, it is this that charges the phones up.

What a great idea this is, you look at a normal revolving door and by adding some fairly simple turbine type workings, and all of sudden you have a human powered electric producing machine.
After the initial cost then every time somebody enters the building they are producing free electricity for the building, which will cut the operating costs of the running of such a large place.

What a really cool idea this is, a combination of coloured glass and solar panels, so instead of those dreary dark panels that could only pass of as a mirror and a bad one at that.

These are great fro the outdoors they will provide both heat and light, these log torches come from environmentally produced sources.
