Climate change is something that has drawn various concerns all over the world and with this new discovery based on studies, it is apparent that people will understand that even human existence may soon be imperiled along with plant and animal life.
Just think of it. How can anyone live on a planet that provides intolerable climates? Even if people would be able to adjust at times, there will come a point where they have to adjust accordingly a

I loooooove this video. Watch it. You Get What You Give.
If you like great music, are angry about the social injustices of the world, then you will like this video too. It’s a bit graphic, but so is life. Created by GreenPeace, it feautures music from The Radicals, and the lyrics are dead spot on.
Watch it. Enough Said.

Whaling in Japan as a means of research is being challenged by several activist organizations, as they state that it is not necessary to kill the whales in order to research them. With the new satellite tagging technology in place, research can be done without the hunt.
Watch the video below created by Australian Environment Minister, Malcolm Turnbull, aimed at Japanese girls to understand what whaling is and how it hurts the future of whales.

The spoon-billed bird is to be put on the endangered list as the numbers are dwindling for this most exotic and beautiful bird.
Cause of the low numbers for the Sandpiper Bird are the decline in feeding sites in their migration route from Russia to Asia, which they trek for the winter. Christoph Zöckler, international coordinator of the Spoon-billed Sandpiper Action Plan states, “they are just running out of places to stop and feed on migr

At first this clock looks like any other, it is only as you take closer look that it becomes apparent that the main body of the clock is actually an old floppy disk, do people use these today?
This is a great idea to use up all of those floppy disks that are still lying around just doing nothing at all.
It is around seven inches high and has a tag of $6.50 on ETSY.

Great story on how there is a group project that monitors and keeps watch on the Monarch Butterfly as they head for the warmth found in Mexico. The project is called Monarch Watch, and is spearheaded by Professor Chip Taylor of the University of Kansas.
The butterflies somehow know that right around this time of year, is the time to get out of town, so to speak. They get together and head towards the sun-friendly Mexico. Along their journey a

We Americans love to pamper and treat our pets like family, i myself have 3 cats, and although i do not have a dog, have always wanted one. As we think of living green and how we can make a difference in the world, our pets remind us that we need to be mindful of the planet, when we feed, shelter, and groom our four-leggged pals.
Dogs (generally speaking) don’t like the water much and well ditto triple for cats. But it is recommended t

We all hear that the reason behind the polar bears nearing extinction is because of the occurrence of melting of the polar ice caps, leaving them no chance to survive once they have no ground to step on. While this may indeed be true, looking at the other side of the coin, there is also the matter looking at the hunters who shoot them down and killing them to serve as trophies.
So why all this rant about global warming is going on, man has been

One of the most fantastic birds in the sky could be in danger because of a US government recovery plan could be flawed.
The problem lies with oil and in fact the moving of oil and this is where the government gets involved and then so on and on it goes, all the while the habitat and the owls suffer.
There is supposed to be a recovery being put into action that is the best that science can provide, we shall see.

In order to procreate, birds usually rely on their laid eggs for offspring. But for this Chinese bird known as the Tern, people are waiting more for their prized eggs as delicacies to feed on, hence becoming a hindrance to allow them to expand their lineage.
Such has been notable towards depriving animals to spread and prosper. While rare delicacies special to some natives have become ideal, it may be a delicacy in peril as well if everything c
