Tents have, for some time, been used to make other items such as bags, covers and even coats. But what about the other way around? It never seems to happen, until now that is.
In 2009, there will be two companies introducing tents made from recycled materials. Nemo’s OZ , which is almost entirely made from recycled materials and the use of sustainable bamboo poles, and Big Agnes, whose offering will be The Salt Creek, another tent virtually

These plastic bottles which can contain either milk or fruit juice are really a such a waste of a recyclable plastic container, but as with many of these items they are rarely recycled and nearly always end up in the landfill site.

However, thanks to Frugal Dad, here is a list of some of the ways that these containers could be used for:
1. Collect rainwater to irrigate gardens.
2. Cut milk jug in half and use top as a funnel for pouring motor

It is a debatable question but if this device does, what it says on the box and the price is right, and then yes this could well be the best solar powered unit yet. Quite simply because this unit will charge just about anything that needs charging and if the sun is strong it may only take around three hours to do so.

When you mention going on an eco trip or holiday, people would normally be thinking of roughing it, with none of the basics that we all take for granted, such as showers and working bathrooms. However, just because this is a green break it does not necessarily mean that life’s little luxuries go out of the window. Like Perfect Earth Tours, they offer an eco break without having to go without.

A music festival is one of those things where it is hard to think of it as being eco friendly, after all, there are huge demands on local resources such as water and there is always the waste too. However, the Latitude festival, which just happens to be down the road from where I live, starts today and is known as the UK’s greenest festival.

But thankfully for FireBox have come up with a really great idea, solar powered lights. These are a little bit those lights that go on the xmas trees, but with the added bonus of being solar powered and the have six settings to match your mood and a

The designers Faludi Design estimate that the cost of these lights could be around $20, which is a great price by anyone’s standards.

It’s about time that solar power became hip, before it was only for the rich people and calculators, but now the technology has been invested in and we will be seeing some really cool innovations as designers see that there is some potential in the sun.
With so many uses, the Sun-Brella is a pretty neat tool, not only do you get a bit of from the sun; you can also get power from it at the same time. The device has been designed to supposedly p

When you have a picnic table that is left outside, the table and seat parts tend to rot after a while, especially if you live in an area where there tends to be a lot of rain or is damp. But while those parts rot away the frame actually stays in tact and this can be a bit of a waste.

Any living being from anywhere would probably ask them what they can do to save the forests and retain its green luster towards continued beauty and savor. We all know for a fact that the green environment is slowly being tarnished by our ever increasing demands for vices that have defected most of our natural habitat and unless we try harder, chances are we may continue to witness its forever dilapidation.
We can make a difference. It starts wit
