Every once in a while, we want to spend some time away with a friend or the family perhaps and normally picnics are not far from being considered. But while many are wondering on what food to bring and eat, others are thinking of containers and what bottled beverages such as water and juices to buy.
However, if you are in France, beware. Apparently to help control the large utilization of plastic bottles and utensils in their region. It is call

While their main specialty for food consumption is yogurt, it seems that if people want to go to extremes, they can also eat their utensils and trash bags over at Spoon Me, a new franchise that can be a great hangout and eco-friendly to society. Much of this is because these two things, trash bags and utensils, are made from corn derivatives.
Both Combe and Jaynes expressed ambition in expanding Spoon Me to become a national, maybe even a globa

There was a time when people who bought wine in a box were considered as being crazy or as having no taste at all. But it seems that they may have been right all along, because recently it has been announced that wine in a box creates much less carbon dioxide emissions than a the wine that comes in a bottle.

When you think about it, plastic bottles are great as they can be used over again and for many different things. So really, there is no need to through them away as we know they can be used to make other products. This cycle can go on for some time until that one person who throws the product into the bin.
But instead of using these bottles to make other bottles, some artists are using them to make some really intricate and beautiful sculptures.

We are familiar with the current combined offerings such as two-in-one or even three-in-one these days. While we see them as lessening the need to buy things individually, they can also be termed as accidental eco-friendly packaging as well. Why? Consider the plastic containers. They are main contributors to landfills being filled up right?
Now that does not mean that shampoo manufacturers are off the hook. It only helped them avoid a certain ta

We hear so much about natural disasters these, and how so weak we all are when it comes to helping out the survivors. Yes we send aid and maybe some cash too, but this doesn’t always have the desired effect.
What the people on the ground need is decent accommodation that is dry and safe, without this it makes no difference how many tons of food are sent over. This is why this prototype for a Mobile Green Disaster Shelter, it is easy to build,

Coffee sacks are making the rounds these days with many people and co-operatives making them into clothing and of course bags. These ones are made by the Pirate Coffee Company. They take these green coffee bean bags and turn them into really cool tote bags and purses.

There is no easy way of saying it, but our waste management is under some serious pressure, and yet it is the consumer who is stuck in the middle that has to dispose of the all that waste which we seem to accumulate every time that we visit the supermarket.
But one enterprising artist has come up with an ingenious way of enabling the consumer a way to not only get rid of that rubbish and waste, but to actually use it to in the home.
