The animation series will be shown in full length on the network’s website. This is first time the series has been aired in its entirety since the early nineties, when the series was first made. It is a surprise that Captain Planet has not been used before. After all, there were some heavy hitting stars involved like, Martin Sheen, Whoopi Goldberg and Margo Kidder.

If you think carbon emissions are primarily caused by gas-belching vehicles then guess again. This time around, even the standard gas-powered home mowers need to watch out as there are new emission rules that will be enforced to lower the emissions that they cause each time home owners decide to have their lawns trimmed.

Beginning in 2011, new gas-powered lawn and garden equipment of less than 25 horsepower will be required to reduce emissions by 35 percent, and all gas-powered recreational boats must reduce emissions by 70 percent in 2010, according to new EPA regulations

We see a lot of celebrities today going green for a cause and of course for their own self-preservation. The latest celebrity to hit the news is no other than famous actor Leonardo DiCaprio who has bought a reported an eco-friendly condominium unit in New York City.

Already leading the way by going green like his hybrid car, DiCaprio has added another feather in his eco-friendly drive with this new acquisition. Earlier, he had already installed solar panels in his home in Los Angeles and this latest investment is the purchase of an eco-friendly condominium in the Battery Park City area of Manhattan that overlooks the Hudson River.

The purchase was confirmed on Friday by Christopher Daly, president of Sheldrake Organization, the developer of the Battery Park City complex. Occupancy is slated for this summer.

The 264-unit condominium glass tower overlooks the river and a park, and boasts low emission paints, a 24-hour fresh filtered air system, a water treatment facility and rotating solar panels.

We constantly hear bickering on what right thing should be done and what people should avoid. Similar to most debates on issues today, climate change is not something that can withstand all the potential lambasting and know-it-all from people who don’t prefer to act than speak.

Let us make things straight. Talking about it and discussing it over and over again will not make climate change go away. If we act and do our own little things then perhaps it will be a different story and results may be seen.

Adam Werbach was recently featured on the cover of Fast Company, and many are either with the innovative environmentalist or against him.

Why? Because Werbach has decided to join forces with big-box retailer Walmart and help them go green. Many are stating that this is not the way to advocate green living as Walmart is not known for its eco friendly practices.

Walmart is a HUGE conglomerate and it is a known fact that at that large a level, it is almost impossible for huge changes or even small changes to take place without a myriad of management approval. Not to mention that Walmart customers aren’t exactly eco conscious. How will Adam Werbach work his magic to make this behemoth company go green?

He is betting the ranch on the 1 million plus employees scattered across the globe, to become green evangelists. He figures if he can reach this demographic, the employees, he can also in time reach the customers.
