By now anyone with even the slightest green ear knows that Greenpeace has it out for Apple. And to some extent it has been working. Apple has made public declarations in the past few months to become a more eco-conscious business.
However, a new report by EPA (the Environmental Protection Agency) suggests that, while Apple is not as green at it could be, it is not the baddest bad guy out there.
EPA’s report says “Apple has the most

This flash light is like something that you see on a sci-fi program, it has no batteries, and in order to power it up, all that is needed is that you shake the torch for around 30 seconds, this will then give you enough power to light up where you are for around five minutes or so, this is really cool.
It works because there is a magnet and a metal coil, the shaking causes the generation of electricity, the light is from a bright LED, which can b

Man has made it his duty to make the world as improved as possible through discoveries and various inventions. However, the said inventions seem to have given man more than he had bargain for. Sure, man has addressed some problems in the field of energy and personal needs but the thing is, he has forgotten the ecological duties that need to be included in the entire research and development phase.

Man has made the steps to make the world an unhealthy place to live in and ironically, it is man as well who is suffering from it. Technically, it is not man directly but the innocent bystanders who are simply trying to live normal lives but are falling prey towards the toxic wastes and pollution that has become evident today.
The problem is, practically all the natural resources we have today have become something to be worried about. Air, water

When I was in college (wow, typing that sentence makes me feel so old!) I had a really crappy drying rack for my clothes. Then it broke and I headed over to the local hardware store and they only had other crappy ones to replace it.
I really wish I had this one:
It’s large, it’s sturdy, it’s protable and it costs $89.99. I know it seems pricey, but after going through three of the knock-off versions on my own in four years, I k

Motorola just received a patent to launch a new solar powered cell phone. While it is not yet on the market, it’s looking like we will see this new line of electricity-free phones on the market in as little as a year.
The new design allows more light to pass through the screen, resulting in the possibility of placing a solar panel behind it and increasing the locations the phone can absorb light.
Maybe I’ll get a cell phone when there are gr

So solar power has been acclaimed as the next boom with regards to driving energy that most of us need for our homes and machines that we have grown fond of relying and using today. While many are still adamant to what solar power can bring, a lot are simply putting their thoughts in check. For one thing, solar power is a good answer towards the various wastes and pollution that standard energy generating plants have given us today.

Why is it that going green is so often equated with going back to basics? Grandma and Grandpa had it right I guess. (This is actually not that true. I had dinner with my boyfriend’s parents the other night and his grandfather has decided to stockpile all the old-fashioned light bulbs he can get his hands on because he doesn’t want to switch to the new ‘twirly’ ones when the ban comes into place in Canada!)
