Books are still the best reference for undertaking anything when it comes to going green and organic practices. For gardening, it is more than plowing the fields and planting seeds. The matter of knowing what to plant and how to properly grow them are also included in proper organic gardening today.
Here are some good books to check out:

A lot of the green issues come from wasted energy that powers most residential homes today. Wasted power and energy not only becomes a problem for people who are thinking of going conservation and climate changes, but also the issue of rising electric bills as well.
