We are all aware of the growing trash problem and apparently there should be various ways to help out your local garbage collectors. We have seen the shift towards biodegradable items but apparently this is not enough. There is a new idea introduced in the market by BigBelly Solar and it has something to do with compacting trash using solar power.

Most people today have acknowledged the need to be eco-friendly and recycling waste materials such as plastic, paper, glass and metal is only one part of trying to complete a process of making them reusable. Not all parts of the world are pretty much aware that they can do more after these recyclables are sorted out. To help minimize the waste problems as far as using batteries are concerned, rechargeable batteries are being offered in the market as a great alternative. Now while that may have resolved one issue, the manner of recharging may be another issue. Energy is a growing concern and the manner of recharging or plugging them into outlets is sure to be a problem.
But for the GPS solar charger, this issue should be resolved as well.

These may like the replicators off of Stargate SG1 but we are assuming that these solar powered robots are totally friendly and apart from the occasional burst of energy when it begins to flap its wings the bug will remain where it has been placed.
They are brain child of Tiny Minds and although they are priced at $80 the value is in how different something like this is when placed on a desk or table near the window.

When is freezing cold outside and the heating is on inside, it is sometimes difficult to judge how cold it is on the other side of the door.
But with this solar powered thermometer you should never get caught out again, and this takes it power from the sun then there are no power issues either.
