Diapers are common needs these days. Compared to the initial days where cloth diapers were shelved in favor of the disposable ones for convenience, it is apparent that we are being wooed into shifting back to the traditional cloth diapers to help bring down waste contribution by disposable baby diapers.
Seeing the need and potential demand and shift by people towards the ancient cloth diapers, Bumkins Finer Baby Products has once again offered

Sometimes it is hard to demarkate between eco friendly and supermarkets. The two have hardly ever been compatible due to the fact that they both operate at different sides of the spectrum. However, recently, supermarket leaders have realized that they could be missing out on some valuable business by not making any green moves. That is all about to change.
The Waitrose chain of supermarkets has traditionally catered to the upper crust section

It is a great concept when something is used to store another item; it saves space and just generally makes the whole product look both cool and exciting. However, when it comes to a product call the Trolly Dolly by ZPM then usability takes on a new meaning.

In NYC, a new line of vegan shoes from a young innovative designer named Gina Ferraraccio is launching.

Gina, a Washington DC native, set out to create a line of cruelty free and environmentally friendly shoes that are comtemporary, fresh and stylish. I would say she has reached her goal with her new line called Cri-De-Coeur.
Each shoe is hand made in a Portugal factory using only all natural materials that includ

There are more and more artists and manufacturers popping up that create fashion and accessories out of recycled leather materials, such as Be Good Designs.
I found these ultra cute eco sandals from their recycled leather collection, actually most (if not all) of their products are made using 99% recycled leather. The leather comes from seats, armchairs, and such.
I like the sandals above because of the toe loop, instead of the flip flop traditi

Stumbled upon a neat blog by a fellow veghead, this one is named SwankyVeg. Gotta love that name.
The blog is run by an Ali Berman, who from her About page, was at one time a big time model. She started the site to showcase shoes, accessories, and other veg goodies for vegetarians. She knows how hard it can be to find stylish cruelty free shoes in most stores, and sometimes even online. So she decided to do something about it, and that is how h

Well some do, here is the Hollywood actress Julia Roberts, she does not worry about what people may think and unlike the rest of us she actually takes her reusable bags to the store with her.
What a great example some stars make to us all, it is really refreshing seeing Julia Roberts going to the supermarket getting the food in, not too sure about the car that she is getting in though, but as they say, “small steps at a time”

On the latest issue of the Small Business Edition of Business Week, a series of entreprenuers were profiled known as antipreneurs.
These small business owners are anti-big and anti-TRADITIONAL advertisting. They aim to make a profit as any other business, just not at any cost. They value their customers, they value where they operate, and they value most of all, being socially responsible.
One of the businesses showcased is vegan shoe shop, M

The Dr Scholls brand is known the world over for creating comfortable shoes, and now they will be known for eco friendly footwear as well. They have recently come out with Renew, a green sandal.
What makes the groovy sandal green? It is made using sustainable wood, has a hemp canvas strap, and uses recycled metal for its buckle. This style of clog sandals usually don’t look comfortable, but surprisingly they are. I like the white strap,

One of my fave blogs is Great Green Shoes, which profiles cool eco friendly footwear. The blog is run by a blogger who has several green sites, and this one is for those with a shoe fetish, like me.
It’s no secret that one of my favorite green shoe brands is Simple and they get profiled regularly at GGS. I also cover them at my vegetarian blog, but at GGS they get covered exclusively and regularly.

For anyone who is fed up with those cotton tote bags that everyone seems to have these days, here is an eco friendly nylon shopping bag that can be reused over and over again.
The advantage of these bags is that they are light and can easily be folded up and stored away, unlike those bulky cotton and canvas bags.
Size:
Height (not counting strap or handle): 15″
Width: 16.5″
Strap length: 12.5″
Priced at $6
