Greatest Green Athletes
MSN recently published a list of the “15 Greenest Athletes.”
They included sports stars who are using their celebrity to do great green things. The list includes Yao Ming, who is active in illegal animal poaching and shark hunting movements; the entire Philadelphia Eagles football team, who through their “Go Green” initiative works towards making Philly a greener place; Solar Panel enthusiast and rock climber Lynn Hill; and skateboarder Bob Burniquist, who helped found Action Sports Environmental Coalition.
