Live Earth Brazil Expecting Over One Million
Can you imagine one million people at a single concert? The Live Earth organizers can. Which is good, because that is the number of people expected to attend the Brazil concert in the Live Earth series on July 17th.
“‘Rio de Janeiro reaffirms its position as an icon city in the America by supporting and being one of the host cities of Live Earth, important peace manifesto that aims to increase the conscience about global warming,’ said Ruben Medina, Brazilian State Tourism Secretary. Live Earth Rio de Janeiro will feature the following acts live on stage: Pharrell Williams, Lenny Kravitz, Macy Gray, Xuxa, O Rappa, Marcelo D2, Jorge Ben Jor, Jota Quest, Vanessa Da Matta and MV Bill.”
I also can’t imagine how a million people in one space that isn’t designed for a million people to not impact the environment, but I wish the organizers the best of luck!
Remember to tune into NBC for the concert! Seeing a crowd this big might be more interesting than some of the acts!
