Wales Start Eco TV Adverts
The stars are stepping out to help the people of Wales turn green, new TV adverts that will include the voices of famous Welsh actors Rob Brydon and Daniel Evans. The campaign, which is being funded by the Welsh Assembly, is hoped to show householders who easy it is to make some subtle changes without changing the lifestyle.
Jane Davidson, Minister for Environment, Sustainability and Housing, said, “Climate change was a challenge for everyone.
“This campaign marks a major step in encouraging people in Wales to change their habits,” she said.
“It is the responsibility of everyone, from individuals to big businesses, to do their bit and help reduce our carbon footprint.
“However, taking action doesn’t have to mean radically changing our way of life right now.
“It means taking small steps that contribute to a reducing Wales’s carbon footprint.
“This can be simply turning off your mobile phone charger when you don’t need it or not running the tap as you clean your teeth.”
