3 Organic Valentine Ideas

by Missy on Friday, February 13th, 2009

Yesterday i wrote about 4 low cost and rather easy green Valentine ideas, and today i want to cover 3 quick organic ideas.

1. Organic and Bio Wine – try a variety of wine made from organic grapes. Get a good head start at the Wine Library.

2. Organic Vegetable Lasagna – try to make a meatless lasagna meal using only organic ingredients. Get a good head start at the Fat Free Vegan blog. Warning this blog is supremely tantalizing.

3. Organic Flowers or Organic Chocolates – If you happen to be lucky and live near an organic florist, ask for a dozen organic red roses – these will not leave any of the nasty chemicals most regular varieties of flowers leave behind in the air. And if you live near a Whole Foods (or other natural foods store) how about looking to support a fair trade organic chocolatier. These are plentiful in independent vegetarian and or health food shops.

There are so many different ways to green up Valentine’s Day. Your only limited by imagination. Essentially if you keep your sweetheart in mind and plan something divine, you wont go wrong. You really don’t need to buy anything, your time and attention in these busy days, should do the trick.

Have fun this weekend!!!

P.S. I just posted a fabulous Valentine’s Day Freebie on my personal blog. If you like freebies (and who doesn’t) do pay a visit and grab one.
